I took around one cup of basmati rice and soaked it in water for about fifteen minutes or so. Then, I added a pinch of turmeric into it and some dry pecans and almonds. Once it was soaked, I transferred all of it into a pan with double the amount of water and let it all be evenly cooked for about thirteen minutes or so on low to medium flame. Once the rice got cooked, I closed

the lid and let it get simmered in its own heat for an extra four or five.

Meanwhile I took about seven to eight chicken drumsticks and took off its outer layer out. Eventually, made slashes in every chicken piece and made sure I smear them all well with rock salt, generous amount of black pepper, enough ginger - garlic powder also curry powder about roughly two and a half teaspoon and one teaspoon full of turmeric and smoked paprika. Some of the ingredients can be used as per your own estimation as well. Use your judgement here. Now eventually I add some baby potatoes and put them in as well into the same baking dish and tossed all of the chicken and potatoes nicely in olive oil. Added some of my own spices as mentioned here and left them all in room temperature for a few seconds before tossing them all into the oven. Do not forget to wrap a foil on top of the dish and poke it with a knife or fork a several times. Now is the time when you preheat the oven for fifteen to twenty minutes and set it on 300 degrees. Once preheated, slide it into the oven for around twenty to thirty minutes and let it nicely bake on the same temperature, as mentioned. At the end once all of it is baked, switch off the oven and serve it with a cool yoghurt dip and cucumber - watermelon salad.

I needed a pinch of rock salt, a pinch of cayenne pepper and then mixed them all well into the Greek yoghurt I used and added a little bit of water to make the consistency thick enough. Added also a handful of pomegranate seeds and mixed them well into it for that seasonal summery feel.

Time for the salad to be made, cut two baby cucumbers and slice them evenly and toss them with some freshly bought and diced watermelon pieces. Also goes in little bit of rock salt a dash is just about fine, a little black pepper powder and one squeeze of lemon and toss them. Served them all on a plate and indeed makes for a sumptuous meal at the end of the day.
